Jana Haidar

I’m an architect and urban researcher in Beirut, committed to understanding and reshaping the relationship between people and their built environments. Topics I work on span placemaking, policy, research, and public engagement.

My research work is cross-sectional and interdisciplinary, bringing me to work directly with multiple communities and alongside professionals across urbanism, law, engineering, and anthropology.

I’ve also founded Masarat Presents, an initiative offering research-based tours that push forward alternative, community-centered narratives of place-making in Beirut.

At the heart of my work is a dedication to community and participation, which drives both my people management principles and investigative methods.
